Planes, Planes, and Baptism

I really thought that when I started blogging I would post each day or close to it. This time there has been a 5 day gap. (gasp) For good reason though... Friday, after dropping the girls off with some very brave and gracious friends, the dh and I were heading to Conneticut to for our God son's baptism. However, we ended up spending the night in Detroit. After making it to Hartford we spent a wonderful 28 hours with our dear friends, including a trip a local yarn shop (where I picked up Flat Feet). It really didn't feel like 2 years since we had last seen them. The baptism went off without a hitch. Our God sons are two wonderful boys. We really, really enjoyed spending time with them and all their family. It felt so natural to be celebrating with them. We were able to get home without incident. Once home on Sunday, it occured to me that we had been on a plane three days in a row. A side bennefit to this is that I did get a great deal of knitting done on planes.
